ORIGIN

Upon a chunk of rock in space

Exacting theories expound its trace

But God knows how and why this place

And God explains our starting base

Man calls it Earth, this ageless nook

While Nature cradles life to cook

The sun and moon provide the rage

With light and rain to turn the page

Upon this stage a spark ignites

A million microscopic mites

And off they go consuming Earth

Their only mission, bigger girth

 Exploring all around their case

Devouring all that cross their face

Shows Nature’s raw and cruel fact

Existing only, void of tact

Submerged in massive oceans, tossed

Without direction, crazed and lost

Their selfish being, no regard

Not long exhausting their backyard

Soon the scoundrels comb the globe

With food their only mission, probe

All learning through the nights and days

Adapt their forms for better ways

For food, their battles soon begin

Survival means the strongest win

Another fundamental rule

That quickly purges weak from school

The strongest learn to scavenge well

To move to where the food does dwell

Some stumble onto shore one day

Adapting to a different way

As varied creatures make their mark

On different paths they each embark

While Nature’s plan is crystal clear

Importance of each species, dear

Their constant eating raises mass

And hones their skills in hunting class

Their varied ages causing strife

The weak form groups securing life

Defeating strong by grouping grows

The groups get big, communing flows

The strong mime weak from inversed reigns

The cyclic switching fosters brains

The young don’t know raw Nature’s hell

The parents’ task is teach them well

But young don’t see what lies ahead

And parents reach what’s in their heads

From cold and hot, each student learns

To sense effects of frost and burns

More cultured lessons start to bait

Maturing souls with varied gait

Each group develops common plot

Survival now becomes less fraught

Improving skills to get more food

Obliged to feed their starving brood

Advancing species honing thought

Their hunger for what they’ve not

Fulfillment brings a happy spell

And sparks enliven souls to dwell

As brains inactive soon expire

Advancing brains desire, inspire

Pursuing pleasure’s higher forms

Children leave their parents dorms

Exploding, banding magic thrives

In diverse hearts and complex drives

Assorted cultures, they expound

With varied views on where they’re bound

Forgetful parents, lessons missed

Infect free spirits, evil kissed

And evil springs the bullies’ birth

While all the rest attempt wide girth

Intrusion numbs free spirits’ role

While downhill, evil gains its roll

As once a wise old saying flows

One bad deed, ten times it throws

Though filled with wholesome resonance

A few bad seeds start world defense

Maturing cultures, wanting peace

Protect their freedom with police
