SHAME

The honing of the bullies’ wrath

Improves upon each reigning lath

Although great wonders spirits hold

America, for greed has sold

With more technology and stealth

Increasing sin and much less health

With global corporate profiting

Excusing global slaves, more sting

Reigns’ freedom costing more each day

And parents, much less time to play

And spirits numb, “Oh well” we say

Becoming grandkids’ listless way

Young kids, in pc games atone

Consumed with gory combat, hone

While deep in concentration, lone

Their morals mold in pc’s cone

Kids missing lessons to relate

Will grow their shells with evil weight

Will take their stride with much more freight

So where’s improvement in their fate

Two hundred years of reigns’ finesse

Pervasive roaming more our mess

Our world at pointless, endless war

With constant threats at every door

Encounters passing, lanced at care

Each bully’s quest for greed’s repair

Our spirits slaving in despair

Our language twists abandon trust

Our quickly mounting, cowering crust

This is our hidden rescue gift

When worldly crises need a lift

Our spirit essence, in disgrace

Our reigns, with dwindled morals’ pace

To foreign lands, this is our face
