STRIDE

In visions of each being’s yen

No boundaries set to limit, then

While stepping not on anyone

The Golden Rule[1], the only one

All Beings learn from birth till late

Our stride through life can speed our rate

While hauling wretched private freight

Our aging lessens lessons’ weight

Our stride is not in speed of walk

Nor is it jested creed we talk

Our stride is in immersion, sought

This is where great wisdom’s caught

Our Beings’ private freight, our shell

Unconsciously ensured, its dwell

Its quickly forming crust, its tell

And festered evil in its cell

Its thickness hampers stride quite well

We set in motion limber feet

Unplanned, we start each day and meet

Our stride partakes in every greet

Perchance a ruckus on the street

Events along the street are rife

With lessons like a two-edged knife

Effects of lessons without spell

When piled high, they teach quite well

If we choose an empty street

Perhaps the chance no soul we’ll meet

And no exchange with which to cope

But no exchange with which to hope

If we take to crowded lanes

Much better chances, many gains

Exchange may teach in lavish bath

But could incite a bully’s wrath

Encounters always in our reach

The magic, only if there’s speech

Another two-edged knife to rust

Intent is harried by our crust

Encounters build free spirit’s nest

Partaking in, we soar, invest

But only if we surely quest

And even when a bully’s test

Encounter’s passing, chance to share

A spirit’s quest for minds’ repair

Within that sharing, bonding, trust

Our slowly thinning, melting crust

And from that bonding, groups explode

Surprising goals in every node

Traversing on the public road

Entangled evil in their load
